Is there a dog breed that has these traits?

Have you ever met a Bouvier des Flandres? They are wonderful dogs. They are a large breed, herding dog. They are very protective and loving. I have had the pleasure of having several Bouviers. They are really laid back but can be very active too. My current Bouvier "Mozart" is very loyal to me and my son. Mozart shares the house with two cats. Mozart is my service animal and is very friendly towards other dogs and people. Yet I have found him to be very protective of me when someone approaches me that seems threatening. He also makes a great home alarm system. The Bouvier doesn't shed... their coats do not smell so they are a low maintenance dog. They are very smart. Sometimes I think Mozart is part human. Mozart rides the bus, goes out to restaurants, sporting events, visits schools and hospitals. Bouviers are a happy dog. They love to be with people.
