Jehovah's Witnesses - How come the "lion will eat straw", will carnivore's be extinct in new world...?

Just like Jehovah will make us all perfect again, I believe that he will too make animals to fullfill their original purpose, and certainly that was not attacking humans or eating other animals. Jehovah see's things a lot differently than we do, especially things concerning his creations. I mean, who are we to say that something wouldn't be as good, you know? Whether its literal or metaphorical I trust that Jehovah will do exactly what he proposes, which will undoubtedly be perfect.
