I want to tell him but will he think I am crazy? It seems too soon...?

I am really into this guy, we have been friends for a while now and just recently (the past month) we have been sleeping together. I really wnat to tell him how I feel about him but at the same time I think he might get freaked out. At what point do you make the decision to follow your heart instead of your head?
