Is Obama really doing anything different? ( he's just the new spokesperson for an ideology started 30 yrs ago)?

In 1979 the U.S. had a vested interest in Afghanistan Iraq, and Iran. How is it that today those countries still remain our nations primary focus? Could it be that Obama is just a new face on the same old show? I heard that he was having secret talks with the clinton administaration like ten years ago. If there is any truth to this than the powers in washington have had their eye on him for sometime. He seems like he was created in a laboratory by washington suits. Primed and sculpted to be the perfect shiny new emblem on an old rusty system. In order to distract an unsuspecting public from what is really going on. Our so called "guaranteed" rights have been nibbled away at since the Bush Administration. The military is still a lead anchor, drowning the nation with its bloated expenses and costly wars. Companies are rewarded for their betrayal of the american worker. Banks are supported when they steal from us. Politicians and government workers are getting pay increases, and the best healthcare while those of us outside the circle are being fired and laid off, or accepting meager jobs with meager pay and no healthcare at all. Our taxes our increasing at state and county levels. We have no real voting power, even if politicians couldn't rig elections---we really only have two people/parties to choose from. Candidates that operate independent from the machine lack the funding and exposure to make them legitimate contenders. If Obama has no real power, then things arent going to change no matter who is in the presidents seat. Maybe we need to scrap the whole thing and start over.--------------- I'd lead the charge but I dont want to be tazored and then wake up in a cage in Gauntanamo.
