Are there any actual economists out there?

How much does it cost to "create jobs?" I would kind of like to know why Republicans keep arguing that having the wealthy pay ludicrously low taxes is justified because they "create jobs." My question is this: Why are we lowering the income taxes of the wealthiest 1 or 2% of the entire population? Doesn't any expense such as "job creation" come out of the COMPANY ledger? I SERIOUSLY doubt that your standard turbo-rich bazillionaire business owner who wipes his wealthy a$s with Benjamins when he's not burning stacks of them for firewood is paying for the creation of new jobs straight out of his own finances. Then again, I could be wrong: is there any real economist (or better yet, a multi-bazillionaire business owner!) out there who can answer this for me?
